Tanya Neate is our experienced Yoga therapist and accredited counsellor. Tanya has been a brilliant addition to our team and working alongside us with our clients offering Yoga and yoga therapy in addition to counselling. 

Yoga therapy is a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. It can include physical movement, breathing practices and meditation, tailored to support you. Yoga therapy also addresses lifestyle, diet, and your relationship with yourself and others.

One to one appointments are an opportunity to learn which practices will benefit a clients specific needs. A group yoga class may offer modifications for practice, but it is not targeted to your unique needs and goals. Your individual practice is designed for you to do at home, in your own time and space, deeply connecting within yourself.

Yoga therapy can address physical challenges such as pain, mobility and rehabilitation for strength. It is also beneficial in supporting mental and emotional issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, overwhelm, self-confidence and instability.

Yoga therapy requires a commitment to a minimum of three 60-minute sessions. The first session will be a thorough consultation and counselling session to establish your needs and goals so that an individualised plan can be written for you.

The subsequent sessions will involve you learning your practice and an opportunity to revise and further adjust your practice for maximum benefit for you.
